“𝖤𝖳𝖧𝖤𝖱” The Latin root is aether, which means "the upper pure, bright air." Ether was originally a scientific term for what physicists called "the fifth element".

“𝖱𝖤𝖠” Rea is a girl's name of Greek origin, meaning “flowing.” Rea is a variation of the name Rhea, born by the Titan mother of gods and wife of Kronos.

ETHEREA is the artistic project of Francesca Zongoli, a Rome-based singer-songwriter and composer born in 1998, and Danilo Pellegrini, pianist, keyboardist and composer born in 1995.

The project blends jazz influences, cinematic atmospheres, psychedelia and dream-pop, giving life to a hypnotic sound universe suspended between dream and introspection.
Soft-focused melodies, intimate and at times sharp-edged lyrics merge with oneiric soundscapes, creating a delicate and spiritual musical language.

The project has been performed both in Italy and abroad, with significant stops in Berlin, a city that has deeply inspired and shaped etherea’s sonic aesthetic.
The duo is currently working on their debut album, an oeuvre that encapsulates the essence of their artistic journey and their constant search for balance between experimentation and introspection, aiming to speak directly to the hearts and minds of listeners.
